The website is part of our commitment to give customers good advice which is readily accessible on health matters. Loopland Pharmacy was founded by Hugh Baird in 1933. He continued to serve until 1975 when the business was sold to Ronald Wilson. Ronald and his wife, Noreen, ran the pharmacy until it was sold to its current owner, David Groves.

David qualified as a pharmacist from Queen's University, Belfast in 2000. He has managed three different pharmacies in Bangor and Belfast since qualification. David bought Loopland Pharmacy in 2009. David always had a strong ambition to own a pharmacy and is thoroughly enjoying working in and being part of the community surrounding Loopland Pharmacy. Loopland Pharmacy has a strong history of independent pharmacists serving the community. David hopes to build on that strong foundation. He aims to provide an efficient, friendly and informative service.

As part of the commitment to great customer service Loopland Pharmacy provides a free prescription collection and delivery service. We also dispense medicines into weekly medi-dose boxes if required.

Our staff at Loopland Pharmacy deliver a friendly service with great advice. We have over 50 year's pharmaceutical experience between us and are a highly qualified team. Loopland Pharmacy has been a community pharmacy for over 70 years. David and his team hope to continue the legacy of great customer service and build on the vital role the pharmacy plays within the local community.
